Hong Kong Day 6 ♥

Day 6! Jie and I were really sleepy cos we slept close to two the night before! So we decided to sleep in longer while our parents and aunt went out around 7! Heh, we slept till around 9+ before getting ready for Dim Sum breakfast w them at the restaurant next to our hotel!

Really messy hair cos i went to bed without drying my hair! Dead tired!

The breakfast was alright, comparable to the Fu Lin's Dim Sum but I prefer the char siew pau & char siew soh there! Yumm! (:

We headed to Mongkok, Ladies Street again around 11.30-12! As we were there the night before and they closed really late (we saw them packing up close to 12.30), we thought they would be opened later in the afternoon/evening, but to our surprise, many stores were already opened! HK people are really hardworking! I was sooo happy cos I could do last minute shopping before heading to the airport for our flight at 8pm! (:

After walking for 1.5hrs, Jie felt unwell, so we headed to Starbucks so she could take a rest theree.

Heh, look like HK star hor. :D

Mummy went around herself looking for the shop that her colleague recommended to buy the goodies from. I ended up buying 6boxes for my friends hehe! Breadtalk moved into HK too! :D

We had to head back to our hotel at 4plus as the bus was arranged to come to pick us around 4.45pm. Before that, we actually went to the Australian Milk Co for their macaroni cos Jie had the craving!

Look at our luggages + Goodies! Gosh!

We only realised then that there was a school just beside our hotel! While waiting for the bus to arrive, we saw cute HK students! Just like in the TVB Dramas! :D

These pair of twins were sooooo cute!

The ride to the airport was pretty long, 1.5hrs cos they had to get the other tourists from the other hotels as well! Reached the airport at 6+ and had to rush to the counter for check-in only to realise that our flight was delayed by half an hour. Heh, rush for nth. hehee.

We saw Nick Cheung at the airport before boarding the flight back to Sg! Hehe, I slept for more than half the flight, idk why i was so tired also, but was feeling pretty sian because holiday's over. ):

Hi zonia!
I will be going HK/Shenzhen/Macau with my family during end dec and I need ur advices.
From your experience, where would it be the best place(s) for shopping? Places that sell nice clothes/bags etc and Prices that are reasonable and not marked up.
Also, where are the places that allow u to bargain/ slash price extensively?

Thanks for taking ur time!:)

HI! for Hk it would be nu ren jie and argyle centre at mongkok, shenzhen would be lao jie, im not too sure about the other places in sz cos i only managed to go there!

macau isnt my type for shopping except for goodies! haha.

This is what i replied one of my readers:

For hk it'd definitely be Argyle Centre @ Mongkok Station! it is also where the nu ren jie or women's street is found! (: temple street near Jordan Station is good if you need stuff for the guys! (:

ShenZhen, we were only there for arnd 9hrs and we merely trained from Lo Wu to Lao Jie where there were shopping immediately after we reached the station! awesome stuff for both genders!

P.S. i suggest you head to Sz before shopping at Hk cos the things there are much much much cheaper! (: do let me know ur experience when you're backkk! Also, do take care of ur personal belongings esp when you're in Sz, at Lao Jie cos we heard that there are many pickpockets there! :( make sure ur wallet and personal belongings are near you & zip ur bags at all times! (:

Hope you'll find this useful!
