Celebrated Ying's birthday last Saturday - her birthday falls a day after my sister's so I never forget! :) Well, we've been friends since Primary 5? That makes 14 years of friendship! And its our first time having a staycation! I was really quite excited! As I'm not working now, I made the hotel booking at Parkroyal located at Pickering!
Located next to Chinatown point and a short walk from Clarke Quay, we checked in at 2pm and got upgraded to a Junior suite! :D We love the room! The living room was separated from the bedroom by a sliding door and the bathroom was so spacious! It had 2 sinks and a relaxing bathtub too!
The view was great even at 7th floor! Imagine how much more awesome the view is on the higher floors!
Off we went to NTUC at Chinatown point to grab some drinks and snacks for the night!
Came back to the room after and caught some SEA games action in the comfort of the room :) Watched the Women's diving and we were assessing them purely based on the splashes! HAHA. Had some research done on where to have dinner and we came to a conclusion - to walk around Clarke Quay then decide. Hehe

Chatted over dinner before we decided to go back to our room for the night. The girls decided that we were too old for late nights and clubbing. Thing is, we've never gone together before.
